4Service™ is a trademark owned by FORSERVICE, LLC. The Company’s Director is Alexey Tsysar. Beginning 4Service™ was founded in January 2001 as the project of Alexey Tsisar in one of the printing companies. (“Computer Systems ltd”) In January 2001, Alexey completed development the 4Service™ (iniatially - Marketing Lab) concept and business-plan as a major structure in Mystery Shopping service, and the company broke into the market. By that time, an archive of English materials on Mystery Shopping and attendant service hade already taken shape; business ties with the counterparts in other countries were established, and the first Mystery Shopping tools were ñreated. The KEY aspect was finding out about the Mystery Shopping experience in other countries, mostly in the USA. The First Customer On April, 25th, 2001 (this date is celebrated as 4Service™’s birthday), we started working with the retail chain UNITRADE, whose top management made service quality and the customer-oriented approach a strategic priority of their company. The project included a series of focus-groups for getting information about expectations and preferences concerning service, working out service standards and a trial run of the Mystery Shopping program. Having been convinced of the quality of our work, UNITRADE signed a long-term agreement with Marketing Lab™ for Mystery Shopping service. Project success During the following years, the 4Service™ staff got decent experience in fulfilling Mystery Shopping programs for many big retail and service companies of Ukraine. We were perfecting our methodology (our Russian counterparts asked us for advice), increasing our staff, widening the range of Mystery Shopping service, and consequently earned the reputation of the company with the greatest aptitude in Mystery Shopping among Russian-speaking countries, even though the company was still only a subsidiary and did not have any legal independence. Independence On March 12, 2004, 4Service™ withdrew from Computer Systems, Co., and was established as an independent enterprise – Service Systems, LLC, – the owner of rights to Marketing Lab™ trade mark. In 2005, 4Service™ joined MSPA Europe, and became the first Ukrainian company in the European Mystery Shopping Provider Association. At the turn of 2005, we also joined International Mystery Shopping Alliance (IMSA) consolidating leading agencies all over the world.
Further development In 2004 4Service™ increased its customers’ portfolio in 4 times and its turnover in 3 times. During this time there has been implemented some unique for CIS service and technical innovations, such as ServiceLook Online 1.0, which allows to provide all the necessary analytical information on Mystery Shopping programs through the Internet, or the technology of Audio Mystery Shopping, allowing to carry out unnoticed audio record of a Mystery Shopper with service personnel, and further transmission of digital files through the Internet. In 2005 4Service™ became a member of MSPA Europe, being the first Ukrainian company in European Mystery Shopping Providers Association. Based upon the results of 2005, 4Service™ tripled its financial turnover again, thus becoming one of the largest research agencies in Ukraine having 25 persons in its staff. Change of name On February, 2006, Marketing Lab™ changed its name to 4Service™. Company’s name was changed from Service Systems, LLC to FORSERVICE, LLC. The name change was brought about by the inconsistency between the company’s old name and its business concept; today, our services have little to do with marketing, thus the name “Marketing Lab” could not reflect the specific character of our activities – Mystery Shopping deals with personnel management. 4Service, the new name, is intended to reflect the company’s mission, i.e., working to improve service, working for the sake of SERVICE - FOR SERVICE (4Service). Expansion On 25th Aprli 2007 we have opened an office in Moscow, Russia (see contacts). Next month, in May 2007, several Mystery Shopping contracts have been signed with Russian companies, and many more clients are in the negotiation phase with 4Service! Further plans The key element of our further plans is to keep up the pace of developing and spreading Mystery Shopping programs at new Easter European service companies with the goal of improving service of these companies. We know that we have made but the first step on a long path, but we are also sure that we will be able to go up to the end which will be of benefit to our people.
